By incorporating EV chargers into residential parking facilities, Optima makes electric vehicle ownership more convenient while supporting residents’ changing transportation needs.

A Growing Commitment to Electric Transportation

Optima began introducing dedicated EV parking spaces in 2016 and 2017 at 7160 Optima Kierland Apartments and Optima Signature, initially offering eight spaces at each community.

Since then, EV charging has become an integral part of our residential developments. When Optima Verdana opened in 2023, approximately 24% of its parking spaces were designated for electric vehicles, reflecting our continued investment in EV infrastructure.

Our efforts have also received recognition in Arizona, where Optima Sonoran Village earned the Salt River Project Champions of Sustainability Award in the Building Communities for Electric Vehicles category in 2022.

Today, EV charging is available across all Optima communities, with infrastructure designed to support electric vehicle owners and accommodate changing transportation needs. With growing demand, Optima responds, adding EV chargers to each community every year consistently growing the total.
