Hosting at Home

June 24, 2026

Having people over is one of the quiet pleasures of a good home. A dinner with friends, an afternoon that extends into the evening because the setting makes everyone want to stay, a visit that feels genuinely easy, these are the moments that make where you live feel like somewhere worth being. At Optima Sonoran Village, the scale and design of the shared spaces make hosting a natural part of daily life.

The Home as a Starting Point

The residences at Optima Sonoran Village are designed for indoor-outdoor living, with large terraces on every apartment, that extend the usable space for entertaining beyond the interior square footage. Open floor plans, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and floor-to-ceiling windows create private kitchens that handle everyday cooking and the occasional larger dinner equally well.

When Guests Stay Overnight

For family visits or guests who’ve traveled from out of town, Optima Sonoran Village offers two reservable guest suites, furnished in-building accommodations that give visitors a comfortable, private space of their own. It’s an easy way to host overnight company without giving up a home office or squeezing an extra bed into a room that wasn’t built for it. The resident gets to keep their apartment exactly as they like it, and the guest gets a great place to stay just steps away.

The 19,000-Square-Foot Residents’ Club

The residents’ club at Optima Sonoran Village is one of the most expansive social amenity spaces in the portfolio. At 19,000 square feet, it functions as a community hub that encompasses a party room with a catering kitchen, a lounge, pool and ping pong tables, and business facilities, all within a space designed to accommodate both large gatherings and quieter, more casual use. The party room with catering kitchen can be reserved for occasions that benefit from a dedicated space: dinners, celebrations, or events that would strain a private apartment’s footprint.

Outdoor Entertaining Across the Community

Optima Sonoran Village occupies 10 acres of landscaped grounds, with more than 5 acres of courtyards that create a series of outdoor spaces for gathering. Two resort-style pools are anchored by outdoor kitchens, barbecue stations, fire pits, and lounge seating designed for lingering into the evening. The putting green and outdoor theater add dimension for gatherings that extend beyond a meal. Tower 15’s rooftop sky deck, with a spa and sun deck, offers residents of that tower a more elevated setting for small gatherings with views across Scottsdale.
