Optima Sonoran Village: A Studio of Its Own, Yoga and Pilates
Not every workout needs music playing through a speaker system or a row of machines humming nearby. Optima Sonoran Village includes a multi-purpose yoga and stretching studio within its 19,000-square-foot residents’ club, giving residents a dedicated space for that slower pace alongside the community’s fitness programming.

The Space Itself
The yoga studio sits near the main fitness floor, close to the lap pool and the steam rooms, so a class can move straight into recovery without leaving the building. The room adapts to whatever the morning calls for: some days a structured class fills it, other days it’s just open for quiet, self-guided time on a mat, whether that’s yoga or mat-based Pilates through the community’s regular fitness programming.

Where the Routine Ends
Massage therapists bookable through the resident mobile app rounds out the offering, so a resident can book a full wellness morning, movement, stretching, and recovery, entirely within the community.
Keeping the yoga and stretching studio separate from the general workout floor means the space stays set up for that practice, so a resident can walk in mid-morning without waiting for a class to clear out. It’s a small design decision that adds up over time, whether someone is easing into a Monday with a slow flow or just carving out ten quiet minutes before the rest of the day picks up.
